Happy 14th Birthday KJ!

My baby is 14 today so I made a video to celebrate KJ's life so far.

The back ground song is "Like a Mother Eagle" from Sue Young's "From The Mother :Songs of the Sacred Feminine" CD. I highly recommend that you go buy it right now. I met Sue once when David and I took a chanting workshop with her. She is a wonderful woman with a true inner beauty.

Oh my gosh.. you weren't kidding about the kleenex! I'm still sobbing! KJ, you have come so far from that first picture when we didn't know for sure if you live. And look at you now! You can change the world!!

I love you,
Grandmomma/Mom

Why O Why did I get stuck with the "crafty" sister. Of course McKenzie's birthday just had to fall 6 days after K.J.'s!! I love the video and I'm jealous of your "craftiness"

Wow, this was so bittersweet for me to watch. Seeing KJ as a baby made me realize even more how quickly it's going to go. He's a wonderful young man and has always been adorable! You have every right to be proud of him. :-)

Happy Birthday, KJ. Rebel, I love the video. I only know you all through your blog and I cried watching it. Ashleigh graduates in 7 days, it goes way too fast. My Dad has always told me to enjoy every minute of their little lives because in a blink of eye the little is gone.

OK, well, that did it. I'm all teary-eyed. 14 years goes by in the flash of lightning, or the rush of the wind, doesn't it? Yeah, that song didn't help, any, either.

Rebel, it looks like it's been an amazing 14 years. Thank you for sharing your stories, and your sweet boy. No, your sweet young man, with us. Makes me remember to savor this time with mine, and still be able to look forward to that time that will come all too quickly.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KJ!!!!
